
It's simple. In between sets of weights, I do a yoga pose (or two poses). Assuming I do 15 sets of weight lifting, I'll get about 15 minutes of yoga/stretching done over the course of my weight routine. Often that's more than enough stretching for me. Sometimes I'll do another 10 minutes post-weights.
It has a lot of types but the ones ideal for weight loss are those that are more vigorous that can lead to the burning of above 400 calories in less than 1.5 hours! Are you truly aware in the moment, inside of yourself as to what your body is feeling and experiencing? Or are you outside of yourself trying to get somewhere else or to be someones else yoga pose? Are you able to stay focused and present in your body at work, at the gym, hanging out with friends? Yoga practice is not simply doing yoga poses for 1 hour. It's a life path. And the benefits are amazingly available for everyone.
